Dean Parker
Dean Parker is an Auckland playwright and TV writer who was formerly an ace right-back in the Halt All Racist Tours football team 1976-1989. He served as the Writers’ Guild delegate for the Federation of Labour/Combined Trades Union, and was once described as Stalinist by a politically moronic NZ Herald theatre reviewer. Dean was born in Napier in 1947.
