Hye Ji 'Erica' Lee
Hye Ji is a Korean-born, NZ-raised writer and 'sociologist-in-training'. She writes about being Asian in New Zealand and abroad, focussing on the intersections of race, gender and class. Her interests are in critical theory, feminist thought, psychoanalysis, post-colonialism, anti-racism and particularly of identity politics and relations in settler societies such as U.S., Canada, Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. In her downtime, she watches Bob's Burgers and tweets petty remarks about her day.
