Patrick Evans
Patrick Evans lectured in New Zealand literature at the University of Canterbury from 1970-2015. He has published two literary histories, four novels and a number of plays performed in New Zealand and Australia. His first novel Being Eaten Alive is visible in a bookshelf behind Michael Caine's shoulder in the film Educating Rita (1983), and may therefore be thought to have been filmed.
