Ruby Solly

Ruby Solly is a Kai Tahu writer, musician, and music therapist living in Pōneke. She has been published in Landfall, Sport, Oscen, Brief, and Minarets, among others. Her first book of poetry, Tōku Pāpā, was published by VUP in 2021 and longlisted for the Mary and Peter Biggs Award for Poetry; her album Pōneke was released in 2020. She is a member of the band Tararua, whose debut album is Bird Like Men.
