Franklin residents have a choice this election: vote Bill Cashmore or throw their voting papers in the ocean.
On this issue, The Spinoff Editorial Board recommends voting Cashmore. He’s a capable councillor who’s likely to be given a key finance portfolio in the next term. The ocean is a vast expanse of water that cares nought for any human endeavour, let alone pathetic instruments of local democracy.
