Five years have passed, yet some wounds refuse to heal. Skree has mastered his magic, Smiggly has retreated into a life of crime, Sly has become (if possible) even more unhinged, and old Mr Scritches has grown into a deft performer of “civilised” life.
Wedding bells are ringing out across the Scimitar Shores. The human paladin Ser Norbert Reinholdt is to be bound in matrimony to the princess of the realm, and a grand assembly will bear witness to their union.
